Bring messages, groups, media sharing, and calls into the flow of everyday conversations.
ABOUT IMIMCHAT
Communication should
begin with clarity.
imimchat is a cross-platform instant messaging app offering private chats, groups, media sharing, and audio and video calls. We want to bring everyday ways of communicating together while making the boundaries of each feature clear.
Our point of view
A good communication experience is about more than features. It is also about knowing what you are sharing.
imimchat is for people who want to stay in touch with ease. Everyday one-to-one conversations, group discussions, sharing photos and files, and voice and video calls are available when the app provides the corresponding features.
Privacy also needs to be clearly understood. imimchat supports end-to-end encrypted private chats; when this status is enabled, message content is encrypted and decrypted on the devices of the people communicating. Metadata needed to operate the service, such as account information, group relationships, and message timestamps, may still be processed by servers. Please refer to the actual status shown in the app and the Privacy Policy for the specific scope.
We make no additional promises about technical implementations that have not been described. We would rather make supported capabilities, their applicable scope, and ways to get in touch clear, so users can make their own choices based on that information.
Product principles
Three things we want to make clear.
These principles are based on imimchat's publicly described features and privacy information; they are not additional guarantees about the scope of encryption or service capabilities.
Distinguish message content in end-to-end encrypted private chats from metadata needed to operate the service.
Support, the Privacy Policy, and account deletion information are accessible from the site-wide navigation and footer.
